Your role

AFFCO New Zealand is seeking motivated people to join their team as Electrical and Mechanical Apprentices at AFFCO Moerewa. These challenging roles provide support to their Trades team in the electrical and mechanical maintenance of site machinery and equipment, which also includes hands-on repairs, project design, and project administration.

About you

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following key requirements for the role:

• Be a real team player with excellent communication skills
• Able to work on a rotating shift structure and be available for call-outs including some weekends
• A reasonable level of academic success
• A desire to work within the food/manufacturing industry
• Physically fit
• Strong organisational skills which complement the need to manage a variety of priorities and demands ensuring that you hit targets and deadlines
• Previous experience in a Trades team would be an advantage, however, full training will be provided for applicants who show a keen willingness to learn and a strong work ethic.
