Your role

As an Actuarial Graduate, the individual will work closely with seasoned professionals, contributing to projects that drive decision-making across various financial domains. This role offers the perfect platform to apply actuarial studies while gaining practical experience in a supportive environment. The company seeks an enthusiastic individual keen to make an impact from day one. 

This is a full-time, permanent, Auckland-based role.

In this role, the individual will:

  • Assist with data analysis, financial modelling, and risk assessments
  • Collaborate with actuarial teams on deliverables and reporting
  • Contribute to the development of innovative solutions for business challenges
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements

About you

Requirements:

  • A degree in actuarial science or other relevant field
  • Enthusiasm, a proactive mindset, and a keen desire to learn and grow
  • Strong analytical skills and a keen attention to detail 
  • Proficiency in Excel and exposure to actuarial software would be a plus 
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • You may also be about to graduate and that is OK too, we are open to you starting later this year, or early in 2025
