I first got interested in Teach First NZ through my scholarship mentor at uni. At the time I was exploring my options. I was near the end of my degree and I wasn’t sure which direction I was heading in, but I knew I either wanted to go into healthcare or education because I knew those two fields have the most impact - especially for Māori and Pasifika peoples. When I found out about Teach First NZ I knew I wanted to apply for it and since then no regrets at all. I love what I do. I live for it.
