Corporate Social Responsibility at Auckland Council

as a local government it is very high

Committed highly to social and environmental outcomes personally and to its users

Well this is what the council is all about and I could see us trying

Not really looked into it, so I'm not too sure... well, I don't really know what CSR really involves..

Money (revenue and savings) isn't the only intention, but other CSR facts are considered in projects. When working on procurement projects, cost would probably only have 40-60% influence on decision. Other considerations are like social responsibilities, waste reduction, etc.

CSR is at the center of Auckland Council's work. Personally, I have worked on the financial reports which include pages of information dedicated to upbringing the population of Auckland through targeted infrastructure which focuses on creating a better environment for everyone in the city.

We are quite strict on corruption. We are not so much self-regulating as we are a government agency and everything we do can be requested by the public through LGOIMA
