What are your thoughts on pay and bonuses at your company?
The pay is great for a student.
Intern, Christchurch - 18 Jun 2024
Standard rate from an intern.
Intern, Auckland - 10 Jun 2024
As I am still on an intern contract I am not bothered by my pay as I'm still considerably fresh and learning. I understand if I move my way up the ranks I know my pay will increase, I am extremely satisfied with the pay and bonuses within the higher ranks of the organization.
Intern, Dunedin - 07 Jun 2024
below market rate
Graduate, Tauranga - 07 Jun 2024
I think the pay is good and competitive with other similar companies. I don't know if I will get a bonus as an APM. I don't know what it takes to get one or who is eligible. I don't know how they work or are calculated either. No one has communicated it to me, so I don't expect to get one.

For coming straight out of polytechnic I find I am satisfied with my pay. The company has many subsidies and perks which are great e.g. fitness subsidy, taxi/uber for work functions.
Graduate, Dunedin - 07 Jun 2024
Below average. Staying for the learning and exposure, definitely not the pay.
Graduate, Tauranga - 07 Jun 2024
Salary for the junior roles could be higher. Bonuses are a good perk and depend on the company's performance/ your performance.

There is an immense amount of perks through RCP, providing you with discounts and offers for a large sum of NZ brands and retailers through the Boost app. There is a lot of other perks including free tickets, free travel (business related), free dinners, generous leave policies, fitness subsidies, and a vast range of other perks.
Intern, Dunedin - 07 Jun 2024
Social events, Boost app
Graduate, Tauranga - 07 Jun 2024
Plenty of perks
Intern, Auckland - 07 Jun 2024
I really enjoy going out for lunch with the office, that is something that we do semi-regularly, and the women have gone out on their own for a couple of ladies lunches which has been great. The Boost platform is good, the best perk on there is JB Hi-fi. It would be better if the deals on there had more of a range for young people, as a large portion of them are for home improvements and insurance that a lot of people can't use. More in the way of mainstream retail or restaurants would be way better.
