We are now looking for customer-focused individuals to join our Insurance Squad - we can promise lots of scope, autonomy and learning!

The Warehouse Group (TWG) is a New Zealand success story, founded by Sir Stephen Tindall and evolved from a single The Warehouse store to become one of the largest retailing groups in New Zealand with $3 billion in sales. TWG consists of six core retail brands: The Warehouse, Warehouse Stationery, Noel Leeming, Torpedo7, 1-day and the market. We have 260+ retail stores, online stores as well as distribution centres throughout New Zealand. We also have two overseas sourcing offices located in China and India. We are a people-centred business with more than 12,000 team members across our locations.

Job Description

In this role, you will work with NZ insurance companies to facilitate the replacement of consumer electronics through our store network. You will provide a high level of service & expertise in offering replacement products to insurance customers that have experienced a loss or damage to their products.  This role will liaise between the insurance companies, their customers and our store network to provide replacement items to their clients, providing a resolution for both parties.

*Please note - this is a Monday-Saturday role working 40 hours per week (working every second Saturday).

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, we are looking for thoroughly customer-focused individuals who are truly passionate about ensuring we keep the customer at the centre of everything we do. We offer full training so don’t worry if you don’t have administration experience, what’s important is your personality and attitude – we are looking for someone who is positive, has a ‘can-do attitude and is ready to roll up their sleeves and support the team.

Success will be summed up with your ability to execute the above duties by being a helpful and trusted advisor to key stakeholders such as customers and our team members across TWG.  Living and breathing attributes such as collaboration and a growth mindset will come naturally to you, along with thriving in a busy ever-changing environment.

Our ideal candidate would also possess:

  • Caring, empathetic nature
  • Excellent organisation skills
  • A relationship builder – at all levels
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and oral

Additional Information

We offer a dynamic, supportive team environment within a business that cares about and recognises individuals. We offer a range of benefits that work for you, your lifestyle and your career which include:

  • Discounts across most of our brands
  • Paid birthday day off
  • Free parking at our Northcote Support Office
  • Flexible working arrangements (up to 2 days working from home per week)
  • 26 weeks of paid parental leave (for permanent team members)
  • A range of well-being support

The coolest thing about my job is the autonomy I have. Even as an intern I have control over my daily schedule. I can choose if I’m working at the office or from home. I can choose what tasks I prioritise and control the flow of my work.

It was very eye opening to see what goes on behind the scenes to get product to customers, especially on the scale that The Warehouse Group operates at!
