Your role

You will be part of the Market Data Technology team in Sydney, ensuring the quality and stability of the Market Data Infrastructure. 

You should have the following: 

  • Can operate in a highly competitive and fast-paced work environment!
  • Deal with customers from diverse backgrounds across multiple countries.
  • Able to deal with multiple feedbacks from clients while working on technology improvement projects.
  • Build and maintain valuable relationships with customers and vendors.
  • Provide primary support for Australian and New Zealand Market Data platforms.
  • Provide 2nd and 3rd-level support for Market Data Infrastructure (RTDS, IRESS, ASX Infra).
  • Report outages to incident management and stakeholders promptly and accurately.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to software component managers or engineering.
  • Provide follow-the-sun support for EMEA & NA Market Data Infra.
  • Proactively update documentation and procedures to resolve inefficiencies in the operating environment.

About you

What UBS is looking for in this role: 

  • A self-starter with the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities within a fast-paced work environment.
  • Must be highly motivated and dependable with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • General knowledge of Web Based Technologies.
  • General knowledge of Desktop Packaging Technologies
  • Exposure to Java, C++ Programming, SQL.
