Candidate Manager - step into recruitment (Rolling Intake)

Upper Echelon has been established in NZ for 3 years, and is a successful specialist recruitment agency. We have an excellent client base and are based in Wellington, but service firms across New Zealand.

This is a permanent role where the primary aim is to source and select good candidates working closely with the senior recruiter.

We concentrate on finding people for business critical positions in the IT sector, and have a large pipeline of work from current and new clients coming in. We don't go in for work outside of our specialist areas and rarely take on work that is already being worked on by another agency.

As a result of our growth we are looking for a delivery consultant to work with a senior recruiter on our busy Cyber Security and Cloud engineering desk. This role is part of a team of 2, where the Senior Recruiter works client side and the Candidate Manager is responsible for attracting and finding the right candidates for the specialist role.

What we are looking for

You'll need to be a hard worker, good on the phone and able to build relationships and manage expectations with high calibre candidates.

You'll also need a keen eye for talent and lateral thinking skills to solve recruitment problems with clients and candidates.

We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic and good attention to detail, plus excellent communication ability

We are building a great firm here and it's a lot of fun to come into work. Plus a state of the art coffee machine. Regular company lunches and a structured work system and process.

We do 6 month targets with the current one being a trip away to Wharekauhau Lodge!

Flexible work hours - we work to outcomes not time in the office. We have targets that are tailored to the individual consultant depending on their needs.

We pay well - Salary is up to $75,000 plus commissions, mobile phone and laptop, extra days off and 6% Kiwisaver. Commissions can carry you easily into 6 figures.
