The Cachet story

After 40 years of developing and building custom estates and master-planned communities, we are extremely proud of the Cachet legacy. Our family history, reputation for excellence, commitment to innovative architecture and superior craftsmanship, and dedication to delivering the very best customer experience have always been the cornerstones of our success.

In 1981, Anthony Auciello purchased a lot in the Jennings Gate community in Unionville, Ontario, to build a dream custom home for his family. Throughout the design, development, and construction stages, he discovered a passion for homebuilding and a desire to enrich the lives of families. Together with his son, Desi, Anthony evolved Cachet from an exclusive custom homebuilder to an award-winning developer and builder of master-planned communities.

The trust that our homeowners placed in Cachet was deeply personal to our founder. Anthony never forgot that honoring his commitments, doing the right thing, and delivering an exceptional quality product and service to our homeowners are the cornerstones of Cachet’s success.

Culture & vibe

Our passionate team works with joy and integrity. We celebrate diversity, invest in our people and build long-term relationships with our clients. Our senior leaders work seamlessly across our locations. Always accessible to our clients, advising and guiding every project from end to end.

At Cachet the environment in which we work must be a good balance of productive and social. Much of our work is collaborative. As we say this, we not only focus on working effectively as a team but see all our team members as individuals.

A cachet is a place where we will work hard to achieve our goals, but it is also a place where we have fun and celebrate special occasions such as birthdays and company milestones as a team. We encourage, support, and celebrate every occasion we can. From birthdays, Friday afternoon catch-ups, or pub lunches to Family Days, Stream Day, Wellbeing, and MOTM.

Career prospects

For many of our clients, a key topic right now is addressing what the future way of working looks like for them. Every organization is so different in the way it operates. That’s why it’s paramount to engage all key stakeholders (and choose the right experts to support you of course!) when designing a solution that works for everyone.

Flexibility is a key theme we’re hearing time and time again at the moment. How can the flexibility we’ve seen in 2020 remain, at least in part, in 2021? There are many benefits as well as challenges to coming together more flexibly. So what does this new-found direction mean for your commercial property?

In our view, we see three key themes playing out – more bookable spaces, quality over quantity, and hospitality-driven elements incorporated into the workplace.

Bookable spaces provide flexibility for meetings, strategy days, and singular focus work. This allows individuals to have certainty of space when they need it, but also allows management to manage and monitor hygiene practices (and the associated risks) with cleaning partners.

We are hearing from clients that they need less space, but they want to make the space they have better and more engaging to staff. Hospitality is a key element to attracting people back into the office with an experience they can’t get at home.

2021 is shaping up to be one of the most interesting times to be involved in our industry and we can’t wait to see what transpires.

This year IWD is focusing on #BreakTheBias. Being a part of the construction industry, it is important our team breaks through the gender bias associated with this field and reflects the real world.

We are proud to say that 50% of our staff are women of which more than 25% are in Senior roles across Design, Construction, Finance, Sales, and Admin; each playing a pivotal role in the success of our team in this industry!
